South East Regional Work

Since its establishment in 2004, Groundwork's South East regional team has played a number of roles:

Supporting Local Delivery

The majority of Groundwork's delivery in the South East region is carried out at the local level. This is through established Groundwork Trusts, or partnerships with other delivery organisations. A key function of the regional team is therefore to support and enhance this local delivery.

Recent examples include:

  • Contributing to the development of the Regional Economic Strategy, particularly in relation to the themes of sustainability and coastal regeneration.
