Groundwork has a strong focus on improving the physical places in which we live. We aim to create sustainable projects by employing an approach that recognises and takes into account all the elements that will contribute to successful and long lasting results. We passionately believe that by engaging with people we can deliver what they want , and ensure projects last.
Groundwork harnesses the inherent interest of local residents in their local shared spaces, mobilising people of all ages to take practical action to improve and maintain their public open spaces. Working closely with our community development teams and youth workers, the landscape team devise schemes that reflect the needs and aspirations of local communities. Nationally, Groundwork is the largest employer of Landscape Architects in the UK.
